Oh my goddess: Jun Hyo Sung and Bestie make comebacks; Eunjung from T-ara has solo debut

The sexiest woman in K-pop, Secret's Jun Hyo Seong made her solo comeback last night on M! Countdown with two tracks from her new EP Fantasia. Her EP from last year (credited to Jun Hyo Sung) was one of my favourites; all three tracks were seductive pop/funk/dance tunes. Hyo Seong nailed the live performances of Good Night Kiss with a combination of class, sexiness and sinuous moves and I pretty much watched them all.
As K-pop whisperer Arcadey has pointed out, producers DubleSidekick have kindly recycled the synth line from Spice Girls classic Say You'll Be There for the single Into You from Fantasia. For the outfit for M! Countdown, she went with an old-school Prince-style Paisley Park look; later ripped open to reveal something a little more Apollonia.
Classy screengrab Mnet.

Meanwhile Bestie (best band name in K-pop) came back as ... EXID? The outfits were a bit sexier, but that burping sax, the wailing, the attitude, the lyrics ("put your hands up in the air/left, right/side to side") ... Not sure if there's anything wrong with that - the formula has worked twice for EXID after all. It builds pretty nicely too and it has a sweet chorus, all courtesy of DubleSidekick and Homeboy. What the hey, let's go with it. Their debut Love Options is one of those bubbly pop songs that always lifts my mood, so they pretty much have a lifetime free pass.

T-ara's Eunjung made her solo debut under the name of Elsie. It was OK for a ballad, I guess? T-ara stan Arcadey has a more to say about it.
